Industrial estate GI “BAB1 Am Schaumberg”

The area “Am Schaumberg” near Tholey/Theley is located directly on the A1 motorway. The industrial area, which is conveniently located for transport, is home to a major private trading company in the German agricultural machinery sector: GRANIT PARTS is a subsidiary of the  Fricke Group of Lower Saxony, which opted for a 10-hectare plot of land in autumn 2018. GRANIT PARTS is a wholesaler supplying spare parts to agricultural machinery, garden machinery and construction machinery distributors in Western European countries and will build a logistics centre here. Approximately 200 new jobs are to be created at this location over time.
