The “Am Hals” business park is located on the north-western outskirts of Wadern and, as a location close to the town centre, has direct access to the Braunshausen/Kastel access road to the motorway. It is no wonder that it is highly sought after by companies looking to relocate. The existing spaces have already been successfully marketed and further enquiries make further expansion necessary. Once again, SHS subsidiary LEG Saar is supporting the municipality with this project. The ground-breaking ceremony took place on 15 September in the presence of Economics Minister Jürgen Barke.
LEG Saar Managing Director Valentin Holzer was pleased to be able to “make a further contribution to the upgrading of an attractive and conveniently located industrial site” as a partner of the local authorities.” He also sees it as “the future-oriented development of another Saarland municipality.”
As for the first and second construction phases, the LEG Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft, as a partner of the municipal company KEV, also plays a supporting role in this project: In addition to project management, their services also include financing (trust account management) and funding management.
The first two construction phases cover sites of approx. 10 and 5 hectares of gross land respectively. In this context, LEG Saar sometimes acted as business agent and was entrusted with the tasks of surveying, planning and production, funding management, project management and marketing.
