A new tourist attraction has been created on the almost 570-metre-high plateau near Tholey in northern Saarland: The new Schaumberg Alm opened in July 2019 with a southern Bavarian feel. The operator, Schaumberg Alm GmbH & Co. KG, built a group of huts here on an area of approx. 600 sqm, which can accommodate a total of up to 800 people (indoors and outdoors) and is an inviting venue for numerous events. Visitors also enjoy an impressive view of the Prims-Blies rolling hills.
