Growth for Saarland Thermen Resort

There is something afoot at Saarland Thermen Resort: The glamping resort and Bliesgau amusement park have officially opened. At the initial event on 13th May business minster Anke Rehlinger was shown what is new at Saarland Thermen Resort and was impressed. During the tour she said: “The glamping resort and amusement park have great potential. They complement the Bliesgau biosphere UNESCO site, which already has outstanding tourism highlights: premium cycle paths, Germany’s best hiking routes and Saarland Thermen Resort. This is all associated with developing tourist attractions. Nature lovers, business travellers and those over 50 will all find what they are looking for here. I am sure that the glamping site will draw in day and short-term tourists to Saarland.”

Numerous visitors from the region were also curious about the extended range on offer. Some investigated the forest and wine garden at the glamping resort, others tried a variety of activities, including test runs on the skating rink, zumba classes and face painting. There were also martial arts and short show presentations.

For a full short holiday

Pleasurable relaxation, healthcare, varied leisure fun, an attractive natural hill landscape and regional specialities – visitors of all ages value this bright mixture around the Saarland spas, right on the border between France and Rhineland-Palatinate. For here at Saarland Thermen Resort you will find a place that offers a lot of options for a full short break.

In addition to the caravan park with around 60 comfortable, large spaces, nature and spa lovers will now find another accommodation option in the open air: glamorous camping – glamping. The guests stay in attractive “natural hotel rooms” made of wood with a cosy living/bedroom along with a shower, sink and ceramic WC.

There is a lot to discover in the resort. Right next to the caravan park and glamping site, the Bliesgau amusement park has just opened – providing lots more in terms of leisure delights. For a start, you can skate there all year round, do Bavarian curling and will find a barbecue village with cosy huts for up to 12 people. Bliesgau Barn provides even more cosiness and delights for the palette. A great visit for the whole family.

Director Heinz Peter Klein is delighted: “Saarland Thermen Resort now has two additional attractions. It is ever more worthy of its profile as a well-being and health location. Leisure fun for the whole family is found next to wellness and health – it is sure to enrich the whole region.”
