With MAG, a further airlinie will this summer fly from Saarbrücken to Antalya on the Turkish Riviera once a week, on Fridays, on behalf of Neckermann Reisen. MGA (Mavi Gök Airlines) and Neckermann Reisen belong to the ANEX Group. With this new flight connection, which will be available from April 7th, eleven flights from SCN to Antalya will be offered per week – more than ever before.
At Saarbrücken airport, the additional flight service to Antalya triggers joy, all the more because this will be the first summer that, with two weekly flights to Izmir, one more Turkish destination is on the airport’s flight schedule. Jürgen Barke, Economics Minister and Chairman of the SCN supervisory board, said: `We are pleased that also the traditional Neckermann brand offers flights from Saarbrücken to Antalya this summer and hope that the number of almost 90,000 passengers to Turkey in 2022 can be raised again.`
Carsten Burgmann, Neckermann Marketing Director, commented: `We expect a very strong growth for Turkey, as there are excellent all-inclusive offers here that offer a maximum of budget security. This is very attractive, particularly for families.`
With Mavi Gök Airlines, the Turkish Anex Tourism Group (ATG) has been providing flights from Germany to Antalya since 2022. `Last summer we were still limited by a lack of flight capacities, whereas now, thanks to MAG, we can provide additional flights at attractive flight times also from Saarbrücken`, stresses Murat Kizilsac, head of Anex Tour Germany.
