Two excellent news for Saarland´s top gastronomy…
… as Saarland keeps its unique position within Gemany: Among Germany´s eleven three-star restaurants, two restaurants are located here on the Saar. And gourmets highly appreciate this. Also all other restaurants in Saarland can maintain their stars. These days, the new Guide Michelin awards its famous stars again.
Furthermore, the important restaurant guide Gault&Millau has selected Christian Bau, chef at Schloss Berg in the Saarland town of Perl-Nennig, as CHEF OF THE YEAR. The French restaurant guide assigns the Gault-Millau points which – besides the Michelin stars – are most coveted in Haute Cuisine.
This award does not come as a surprise as Christan Bau´s motto is `Do things with passion or not at all`.
