1.2 million cubic metres of earth were moved to create three level plateaus here near Saarlouis. The excellent transport links via the new B 269 to the A 620 motorway and the A 4 motorway in France make the Lisdorfer Berg master plan area particularly attractive for companies from the manufacturing and logistics sectors – the French border is just a stone’s throw away. The market leader among kitchen designers also appreciates this: The East Westphalian company Nobilia is settling here on a 30-hectare site and creating 1,000 jobs in the long term.
