LEG Service GmbH has passed the external audit required for certification under the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and been awarded the sought-after certificate. In doing so, the company has confirmed its consistent application of the highest standards for information security and data protection. LEG Service is a service provider and shared service centre for its companies, especially in terms of organisation, IT and HR.
Successful certification marks a milestone
ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS). The multi-level audit procedure involved a comprehensive review of LEG Service GmbH’s processes, policies and technical measures. The regular training given to employees, the implementation of technical safety measures, and the planning and running of internal audits were all highlighted.
Rita Gindorf-Wagner, CEO of LEG Service and Strukturholding Saar, emphasised: ‘Certification under ISO 27001 is both a vital milestone and an obligation for us. It highlights our commitment to continually improving the security of our customer data and company information and ensuring it remains up to date.’
