At the Hannover Messe (from 31 March to 4 April) gwSaar will be using a new trade fair concept under the heading ‘Germany’s Saarland’ to promote their hub of industry and technology alongside Saarland-based partner companies.
Using a newly developed trade fair format geared towards personal encounters and short channels, the Saarland Economic Promotion Corporation (gwSaar) will be inviting visitors from all over the world to explore the innovative products, services and technologies that Saarland companies have to offer. A joint stand (Hall 2, Stand B10) will serve as a unique showroom and meeting point, as well as a platform for presenting products and for information and networking.
The aim of the ‘Germany’s Saarland’ joint stand is to increase international awareness of Saarland as a hub of industry and technology, provide Saarland companies with global networking, promote cross-sector integration and open up new business areas.
At the trade fair stand, twelve companies and their partners will be presenting their products, services and research projects to an international audience:
The new trade fair concept will see Germany’s Saarland organizing numerous events directly at the stand. For example, visitors on the first day can expect a ‘Saarland Day’. The day will end with a networking event, to which international delegations are invited, in order to make new contacts and promote collaborations.
On the first day of the trade fair, State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy Elena Yorgova-Ramanauskas will be visiting the joint stand to chat to exhibitors and explain the benefits of Saarland as a location to international visitors.
The joint stand’s programme will also feature other themed days shedding light on global developments and innovations. Particular highlights include the ‘AI – A new approach to almost everything?’ events, organized by the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce (TD-IHK), InSaar and iPartners, as well as ‘Cross Border Collaboration – Navigating Investment Opportunities Across Borders’, headed by Bettina Hübschen, CEO of Saarland’s hydrogen agency H2saar.
