Saarbrücken International Commercial Airport is an important location factor for the region. A new terminal was built here between 1998 and 2000. It was developed on a new construction site over approximately 30.000 m² plus a connecting structure to the existing and renovated handling wing. The numerous glass surfaces and a roof in the shape of a wing draw the eye. The car rental terminal was also constructed close by. LEG Saar was the project management partner for this and the construction of the Airport Business Centre.
