Science Park Saar launches Coworking Space<\/h2>\n

This special type of work allows for the flexibility needed especially in the build-up phase of a young company. It is a genuine enrichment of the Science Park\u00b4s offerings and is perfectly in line with the Saarland Offensive f\u00fcr Gr\u00fcnder which has been conceived to overcome barriers and to motivate people to start their own business, Barke said.
\nThe working spaces provide room for creative ideas and productivity. Here, in direct vicinity of the university and the companies of the Science Park, freelancers, creative minds, small start-ups and digital nomads find the ideal launch pad for their businesses, Schuck added.<\/p>\n

Welcome at Coworking Saar<\/h2>\n

Spiceyou, a young startup from Lower Saxonian Diepholz, will already soon be using the new workplaces at the Science Park for the transitory time of its relocation to Saarland. The certified company sells individually mixable organic spices from handpicked raw materials and controlled biological cultivation. Tobias Quebe founded the online shop as a student to offer a genuine alternative to the standard finished mixtures of spices. Now he wants to enlarge his company and open a subsidiary in Saarland. He says: `I am happy that I have found a coworking workplace in direct neighborhood of the university and that I can use the infrastructure of the Science Park. This is something I like in particular.`<\/p>\n

The Coworking Space Saar<\/h2>\n

Co-working is a new form of working together in a shared office where people can rent a workspace at any time and work there. Start-up entrepreneurs looking for like-minded people or wanting to act independently for a certain time share a large room and can benefit from each other.
\nOn the Science Park Saar, six individual workplaces for flexible use have been installed in a bright and friendly 64 square meter room. The group worktable invites for teamwork and creative exchange. Professional presentations can be held at the conference room. So, this is exactly the right environment for creative people, freelancers, IT experts and start-ups. Also the sophisticated infrastructure of the Coworking Space Saar \u2013 printer, free WLAN access, beamer at the conference room \u2013 makes one\u00b4s first steps into business easy. Furthermore, the Coworking Space is equipped with lockers, a well-furnished kitchen, coffee machine and drink vending machine.<\/p>\n

Getting started cost-effectively<\/h2>\n

Costs are calculated per workplace. The tariff rates including WLAN access for reservations by hours and days serve as a first orientation. The daily rate (9 hours) is 17 euros. However, workplaces can also be rented on an hourly base. The minimum rate for two hours is 6 euros.<\/p>\n
