HUK-COBURG Dienstleistung GmbH will be based in Saarbr\u00fccken from the end of the year. The first stage will see 60 new jobs being created. In the future, this new site will process own damage claims for HUK-COBURG.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Minister of Economic Affairs J\u00fcrgen Barke: \u2018Once again, Saarland has managed to win over a market leader. HUK-COBURG is one of the largest insurance companies in Germany and will be further developing its potential in Saarland in the future. This success highlights our region\u2019s versatility and skilled workforce. Alongside the arrival of Vetter Pharma in Saarlouis and Viega in Kirkel, HUK\u2019s expansion plans will help ensure that the Saarland economy is well set up for the future. This demonstrates once again that companies seeking sites in Saarland can rely on the support of the state government and gwSaar as reliable partners to provide skilled support for their projects.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Dr. J\u00f6rg Rheinl\u00e4nder, member of the HUK-COBURG Executive Board: \u2018We are delighted with our new site and would like to thank the Saarland state government and the Saarland Economic Promotion Corporation (gwSaar) for their energetic assistance with planning and development. This site offers the ideal environment to further expand our claims team and process the increasing number of claims quickly and in a customer-oriented way.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The HUK-COBURG insurance group has more than 13 million customers \u2013making it one of the top ten insurers in Germany \u2013 and offers a comprehensive range of insurance options for private households. Its areas of business include motor insurance, liability insurance, accident insurance, property insurance and legal expense insurance, as well as private health, life and pension insurance. It is Germany\u2019s largest car insurer with around 13.9 million vehicles insured. This purely national company has 38 locations in Germany with a total of around 10,000 employees. HUK-COBURG Dienstleistung GmbH was founded in 2017 and already has nearly 350 employees in Jena.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment activities are already beginning in Saarland.
