University President Manfred Schmitt: `It is a big success for the campus Saarbrücken and the entire university that another such top-class building is in tangible reach now. A new ultramodern building will be created that documents the university´s research power in biophysics and will also significantly strengthen the interdisciplinary, location-spanninig cooperation with medicine.`
By 2023, a new scientific building to unite the research activities of the Center for Biophysics shall be constructed.
